Returning Defective Media

From time to time, we do encounter defective media that is sent to the customer. If you have received a DVD that has other issues not covered in the DVD compatibility page, please return it to Shawn Beuscher, llc. within 60 days of the original delivery date for free replacement. For damaged media returned after 60 days from original delivery, replacement discs can be issued at half the price of the original sales cost. S&H fee's as well as sales tax will also be applied.

Before sending DVD's back, please check the DVD for fingerprints, smudges, or scratches since these are the most common reasons for playback issues. Scratched or dirty DVD's will not be exchanged for free. All returned discs that are tested and found to be of fine working condition will have a $5.00 s/h fee charged to the customer before the disc is sent back.

Since our return policy needs to have the actual disc(s) in question sent back for inspection, please use a delivery confirmation method through your mail carrier to ensure delivery. Any replacements, free or otherwise, will not be honored without returned delivery of the original DVD's for our inspection. Before returning possible defective DVD's for replacement, please read the DVD compatibility page to make sure the play back problem is not caused by your DVD player. When sending back defective media to be replaced, please use the mail carrier's "Media Mail" or "1st Class Mail" option ONLY. Shawn Beuscher, llc. will ONLY refund the Media Mail or 1st Class postage rate. If you send a defective disc back any other way, ie...Priority Mail, Express Mail, Next Day, ect..., Shawn Beuscher, llc. will only issue a check for postage refund of the Media Mail or 1st Class postage rate.
